Benreu sub-centre new building, funded by NRHM constructed under the initiative of the whole community was inaugurated by Dr. B. Yanger Ao, CMO Peren on January 30 in the presence of village leaders and villagers of Benreu village, Peren.
Apeurai, VHC Chairman welcomed CMO and his team and expressed gratitude to the medical department for providing the much waited new building.
Dr. B. Yanger Ao CMO in the inaugural speech lauded the community for the successful construction of the new Sub-Centre building and further urged them to maintain the new building with the feeling of ownership, citing that with the launching of Communitisation now the government and the community are in partnership. He further encouraged the health workers to be regular in their posting place and continue to serve the villagers selflessly.
Other highlights of the inaugural programme included, short speech by Dr. Tiala Longkumer Dy. CMO and Dr. Tiasunep DTO, invocation prayer by Heikuhangbe, Pastor Local Church and Vote of thanks by Tingbangbe Council Chairman.
