Nagaland State Bharat scouts & Guides (NSBS&G) hosted two north east regional programmes at North East Regional Patrol Jamborette from June 19-23 at Nagaland state training centre, Nerhema. Participants from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, N.F Railway and Tripura attended the programme.
Total of 211 scouts, guides and rovers attended the Jamborette. National Commissioner L. M Jain along his wife and director R.K. Sharma from national headquarters, New Delhi visited the camp as camp-fire chief on June 22.
North east regional district level officer course was also held from July 10-14 with participants from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, NF Railway and Nagaland. Khyomo Lotha, ex. MP and state chief commissioner was the campfire chief and Zakio Metha the guest of honour for the grand camp fire on July 13.
Leader for both the courses was Arun Ch. Pattar assisted by regional organising commissioner (guides) Kumud Mehra from Northeast regional headquarters and state organising commissioner (Scouts), state training commissioner (Scouts) and state training commissioner (Guides) of Nagaland state Bharat scouts & guides.
