Prayer is the key to set oneself free from bondage and lead to a path of spiritual liberation, opined Moasenla Aier, the author of a new book titled “Praying with Understanding”.
Moasenla was speaking at the launch of her book at Living Word Fellowship, Circular Road, Dimapur Sunday.
Enlivening Luke 13:12 “When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, ‘Woman, you are set free from your infirmity”, Moasenla emphasized on the need of prayers to set people free from “Satanic bondages” and all infirmities.
Speaking to Nagaland Post, the author stressed on prayer as the key to spiritual liberation. She was also elated that her book was being released on a Sabbath day.
On being asked what really inspired her to write the book, the vivacious author pointed out that it was the spiritual need from within which made her embark on a journey and the need to share what prayers can really do to one and all.
Imtijungla Longchar, another author who is also her maternal aunt has summed up the work of Moasenla in her introduction to the book. “This book will clear your vision, calm your heart and activate your faith”, wrote Imtijungla.
Imkongmeren Imchen, a lecturer at Discipleship Bible College, Dimpaur who was also the editorial expert in developing the manuscript of the book said “Praying with Understanding” discusses points raised “intelligibly, precisely, and comprehensively”.
He added that by the time the reader finishes reading this book, the person will gladly become part of – in the author’s own words, “a praying generation”.
Moasenla Aier is a writer, youth counselor and resource person. She is a graduate in Mass Communications from St. Anthony’s College, Shillong and got her Master’s degree from Discipleship Bible College, Dimapur and currently resides in the state’s commercial hub.
The book was released by Nagaland Post editor Geoffrey Yaden while Dr. Nuklu Longkumer led the prayer for not only the grand success of the book but also effective impact.
