State chief minister Neiphiu Rio Friday expressed the hope that prudent endeavours to establish industries would enrich the economy of the state.
The chief minister was speaking as the chief guest here at the launch of Agar and Essential Oil Distillation Factory in collaboration with Lao Int’l Development Co. Ltd, HSMM Group.
While congratulating Bio Resource Mission, government of Nagaland for launching the same, Rio said Agar was regarded as liquid gold and called on the community to assist the factory by providing required raw materials.
During the function, short speeches were delivered by president & CEO HSMM Group, Lao PDR Habib Mohammed Chowdhury, parliamentary secretary Er. T Saku, Tsurangkong Mungdang president and Longpayimsen village council chairman.
The function was chaired by agriculture production commissioner & principal secretary to the government of Nagaland H.K. Khulu while vote of thanks was given by addl. director, LRD & mission director, NBRM Moatoshi Longkumer.
