Career guidance program at St. Xavier College, Jalukie

Peace Channel organized a day-long training programme on career guidance and goal setting at St. Xavier’s College, Jalukie for BA final year students on November 6.
Rev. Fr. CP. Anto, director, Peace Channel highlighted on the importance of goal setting and purposeful life.

During the session, he stressed that one should set a target and put an effort to achieve it with perseverance and patience.
Adding value, he specified that “One ought to dream big and convert it into reflection and then to action”.

He also stressed on the various aspects and process of goal setting and challenged the youth to strive hard for next few years for future stability and happiness.
On career guidance, he stressed on the different career development circle namely ability, skills, interests, personal life style, family back ground, personal value system, and passion etc., and urged students to make right choice of career.

Wobenthung J. Patton, project coordinator also spoke on the basic and various aspects on interview skills.
He conducted mock interview and presented various career options after the graduation.

Theresa animated the group discussion and Rev. Fr. Jose Lukose proposed the vote of thanks.
Juliana, College president and others shared their experiences and learning.
