Electoral roll observer from Delhi Anand M. Limaye visited Dimapur on November 5 and held meetings with district administrative officers and other election related officials in connection with the ongoing special summary revision of electoral rolls of Dimapur and Peren districts.
Limaye also held separate meeting with registered political parties of the districts and requested the members attending for extending their participation in a constructive way for achieving 100% error-free photo electoral rolls which is going to be used during the ensuing conduct of election.
He also visited some polling stations under 2 Dimapur-II A/C to see the revision works carried out by the BLO and also interacted with the local residents.
Meanwhile, Limaye visited Phek on November 6 and 7. During his visit, Limaye had a meeting with the representations of political parties and administrative officers at General Administrative Rest House Phek. Later he visited some polling stations and interactedwith the BLOs. During his interaction, he inquired about the process of electoral roll and also asked them if they found any problems while discharging their duties.
