Sotokur Students Union (SSU) has resumed its surprise checking, in medical and education sector within its jurisdiction which was led by its president C. Kanito and Vice president S. Hopong. The Union focused on the anomalous of the staffs and teaching faculties and their facilities.
SSU president C. Kanito in a release stated that the union was satisfied with the present system of education and the attendance of teaching faculties; however SSU expressed its dissatisfaction over the functioning of medical sub-centre with shortage of medicines for the patients.
The Union also stated that the population of Thsotokur village has wide-range population of about 4000-5000 people and felt that the present medical sub centre may not be able cover the whole population.
SSU has urged the authority in charge to upgrade the medical sub centre to primary health centre for the well being of the sick and public as a whole. SSU also acknowledged YAA officials for appointing a head master at GHS Sotokur village after so many years.
