The 4-day ‘Grace awakening crusade and seminar’ , a time for renewal with Church leaders concluded Sunday at Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA) Duncan with pastor Rigby Wallace (South Africa) as speaker for the evening session.

Speaking on the concluding day, pastor Wallace spoke on blessing of justification and illustrated the blessings of God when one is justified by faith.

He emphasized four main points on the blessings of God while enlightening the Church leaders from the passage Romans 5: 1-5.

Pastor Wallace said when one is justified by faith, he would have peace with God, have access of God’s presence, rejoice in the glory of God and receive the indwelling gift of the Holy Spirit whom God had sent.

He said God wants Nagaland to stand on this doctrine, adding, grace awakening was about justification by faith.
Pastor Wallace expressed that one cannot be a Christian and will be in darkness until justified by faith; however he said, Jesus was free of sin but took on the sins of the world that one may have the righteousness of God.

He inspired the congregation by saying, “All of our sins are on Jesus” and righteousness have been credited to those who have faith in God.

The pastor also said Christians have equal righteousness; though they were not perfect they have perfect righteousness before God.

Conveying the message that “justified Christians are confident Christians” and the blessings of justification by faith are enormous, Pastor Wallace said, “By faith, one has peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.

Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us”.

He further enlightened the leaders gathered that grace awakening crusade needed a foundation and that was the doctrine of justification by faith.

In the programme, message in song was presented by Chakhesang Baptist Church Dimapur choir.Michael Eaton (England/Kenya), a preacher, author, theologian and a teacher spoke in the morning session.

It may be nemtioned that the crusade and seminar was organized by Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) from November 22 to 25.
