Hukiye N. Tissica, the Congress candidate for 34 Aghunato Assembly Constituency and his campaign team conducted a public meeting at Lizuto village at the residence of Kahuto, GB on January 19.
While appealing the public for their whole-hearted support, Hukiye highlighted the misappropriation of central funds for the construction road leading to Lizuto village by his opponent.
In the evening, Hukiye’s campaign team conducted a public meeting at Thokihi village where Akato, general secretary, ACCC gave the introduction.
The main speakers included Khehoto Aniche, Tovishe, GB, Thokihi, Shikato Yeptho, president, Khekiho, Adviser, Hetozhe, Nikheto, Banker and Shikaho, party advisor.
The villagers asked the candidate to blacktop the existing road from Thokihi village to Tizu river and consturct one dispensary, much needed by the poor villagers.
Hukiye assured to do his best to meet the request if he is voted to power.
Tovishe Aniche, GB, Yeheto Yeptho, GB, Lhozhevi Yeptho, GB and Zhehoto Yeptho, GB also spoke in the meeting.
On January 20, Hukiye’s campaign team conducted another public meeting at Ngozubomi village where Yehoje GB, Kiyexu, Hd. GB, Yehezu Chophy, GB, Lutoyi Awomi, Xutovi Awomi, Tosuho Yeptho, Nihoto Yeptho, Hetokhu Ayemi and Hukheto Awomi were the speakers.
It may be recalled that Hukiye’s campaign team had conducted a similar public meeting at Viyixe village on January 18 where all GBs including Lazheto, GB, Ghoito, GB, Hewoto Aniche, GB and Yejeto, GB declared their wholehearted support to the candidature of Hukiye.
The meeting concluded with a big public feast. Similarly, the native village of Hukiye Aghulito and Nizhevi village have already declared solid support in favor of Hukiye on January 18.
The meeting was chaired by Iveto, Congress village unit president, pastor Khehoi of Lizuto B/Church pronounced the invocation and Atoshe, GB Lizuto delivered the welcome address.
