BJP Tuensang district informed that Rhakila, w/o Lt Lakiumong, former BJP MLA and parliamentary secretary joined the BJP on Sunday and has declared her candidature for the ensuing state assembly election 2013, from 54 A/C Tuensang Sardar II.
BJP while in a release has welcomed her to the party, also expressed confidence and faith in her popularity in leading the party to victory in the election.
It may be mentioned that at present, Rhakila is the lone woman candidate contesting at the state general elections to be held on February 23.
