In view of the ensuing election to the state legislative assembly, Deputy Commissioner & Returning Officer (DC & RO), Mon has set up district level videography team with C. Shingwang, SDO (civil), Mon as chairman, S. Hongpi Konyak, DPRO, Mon as member secretary and Ronshong, information assistant as member.
According to an official bulletin, the videography team shall assess and arrange for videographing the election process and the order would come into with immediate effect and stand till all the election process was over.
Further, DC Mon Angau I Thou has constituted the following officials as Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC).
The committee would be led by Angau I Thou, DC, Mon as chairman; Kuko Mero, ADC, Mon Hq. as member; C. Shingwang Konyak, SDO (civil), Mon as member and S. Hongpi Konyak, DPRO, Mon as member secretary.
MCMC shall monitor the role of media and paid news in the electioneering process in the district. The order shall be effective from date of signing and stand till the completion of all election process.
DC, Mon has also constituted District Level Medical Board (DLMB) with Ilika Zhimomi, EAC, Mon as chairman; MS. Civil Hospital, Mon as member secretary and CMO, Mon as member. The medical board shall examine and recommend leave application of all the government department officials/staff who seek for exemption from bonafide government duties on medical ground. The board shall recommend deserving cases to the office of the DC & RO, Mon for consideration.
