Republic Day observed in Meluri, Bhandari

The 64th Republic Day celebration was held at the premises of ADC’s office, Meluri on January 26 with additional deputy commissioner, Sentiwapang Aier as the chief guest.

The chief guest, additional deputy commissioner, Sentiwapang Aier  unfurled the national flag, took salute from the 5th NAP and delivered the Republic Day message.

Later, the chief guest gave away prizes to the participants. The 7th Assam Rifles distributed sweets to the gathering.

The programme was attended by all heads of offices and government employees, GB’s, DBs NGO’s, and public leaders of the sub-division.

Meanwhile, ADC headquarter Bhandari joined with the rest of the country in celebrating the 64th Republic Day on January 26 with ADC, Lungheising Zeliang as the chief guest.

Highlights of the programme included presentation of folk song by Eloe Hoho Bhandari town and football exhibition match between Eloe Hoho Bhandari town and Bhandari village Eloe Hoho.

Parade contingents were 7th NAP Bhandari, 7th NAP Unit School and Don Bosco Higher Secondary School.
