Members of the United Women Welfare Organization Dimapur (UWWOD) has congratulated its president, Daisy Yaden, and Anganwadi worker-cum-teacher, Alienla, on them being awarded governor’s medal and governor’s commendation certificate respectively on Republic Day.
UWWOD in a release stated that Daisy Yaden has an extraordinary talent, ability and thoughtfulness to her calling as a social worker who has contributed to the downtrodden women and children for more than 50 years.
It further stated that Aienla was a dedicated teacher of pre-school run by the organization, adding, it was a proud moment and a challenge for the women to emulate their examples in days ahead.
