As per the resolution adopted on February 8, Alongshong Atparü Mülong (KAAM) (Women’s Association) Kiphire has resolved to implement the resolution for the common welfare for the society.
KAAM in a release has informed all administrative officials, GBs, DBs, NGOs, various tribal organization, national workers and Churches at Kiphire Town to adhere strictly on the resolution to extent co-operation in order to eradicate the antisocial activities.
Some of the resolutions adopted by KAAM are as follows: Selling of alcohol (wine, rum, whiskey, etc.) would be imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000 and drug peddlers would be imposed a fine of Rs. 25,000.
Anyone involving in fornication/ adultery shall be strictly disciplined by KAAM. Anyone caught in intoxicating state and creating unnecessary harassment/ mental tension towards the public would also be dealt seriously by the association.
