KSU: Kyong Students’ Union (KSU) has expressed deep shock over the serial murder of Odyuo, Alice Sumi and Shanchobeni Patton on May at Bor-Lengri Karbi Anglong Assam by one Thomas Humtsoe of Humtso Village under Wokha District. KSU said it was shameful to learn that the murder hail from Kyong community adding that he does not deserve to live in the “civilized world” and that accused deserved “life imprisonment”. The union further stated that the “good image” of the Kyong people has been tarnished by Thomas Humtsoe. Acknowledging Dimapur and Wokha police for their timely intervention into the case and nabbing the prime accused even before the Diphu police could make any initial breakthrough despite evidences and other inputs collected at the crime scene, the union urged the law enforcing agencies of both the state not to grant bail or show any sympathy to the accused.
DGU: Disciplinary Action Committee of the Dimapur Gorkha Union (DGU) has expressed shock over the death of three members of a family at Bor-Lengri, Karbi-Anglong, Assam. Stating that the ghastly act committed by one Thoma Humtsoe has angered and hurt the entire citizens of Nagaland, DGU vehemently condemn the triple murder and expressed condolences to the bereaved family members. Meanwhile, DGU has expressed gratitude to SP Dimapur, V Z Angami and his team for apprehending the Murderer from Wokha.
