Community first responder (CFR) training of Kiphire district was held from July 30 to August 1 at DC’s Conference Hall with SP Kiphire, Kongjak Tashi Khampa as special guest.
According to a DIPR report, the training was organised by Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority, Home Department in collaboration with district administration, aimed towards a safer and resilient Nagaland.
In his address, the SP Kiphire shared his experiences on Uttarakhand, which was faced with natural calamity.
He called upon the people of interior place like Kiphire district to be aware of natural calamity beforehand for the safety of life and property.
NSDMA team, Stephen Keleseho OC Fire Station Kiphire, Dr. Kevi MO District Hospital Kiphire and Dr. Apila MO District Hospital Kiphire were the resource persons of the programme.
The closing function was graced by the deputy commissioner Kiphire, Kesonyü Yhome, who also gave away the certificates to all the participants.
