Parliamentary secretary for urban development Zhaleo Rio on return from the Independence Day celebration at Tuensang visited Mokokchung. A meeting was convened at Hotel Metsuben with the district administration.
On Saturday, parliamentary secretary Zhaleo inspected the approach roads and other urban maintenance. He also inspected Mokokchung TB Hospital road, Indian oil road, Alempang circular road covering around 30 Kilometers and P. Shilu Memorial Park.
The parliamentary secretary assured help in the best of his capacity during the financial year of 2013-14 for urban development, despite financial crunch being faced.
He also spoke with the contractor of the P Shilu Memorial park and said that it must be inaugurated by first week of December.
Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce and Industries (MCCI), Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC), officials from district administration accompanied the parliamentary secretary, urban development during his inspection.
