Azila Sangtam, Class X student of Bethesda Higher Secondary School and Siraj Uddin, Class IX student of St Thomas Montessori & High School, earned the first and second places respectively in the District-Level Science Seminar on the topic “Water Co-operation: Issues and Challenges” at Bethesda Higher Secondary School, Dimapur on August 26 2013. Azila Sangtam and Siraj Uddin will now represent Dimapur district in the State-Level Science Seminar 2013 slated for September 18 2013 in Kohima, according to a release issued by R Amongla Jamir, Deputy District Education Officer, Dimapur.
The judges for the district-level science seminar were AK Das, PGT (Chemistry), St John Higher Secondary School; Tanu, Sc G/T, Chumukedima Higher Secondary School; and Niru, PGT (Chemistry), Greenwood Higher Secondary School.
