Deputy Commissioner Office Phek directed all the owners of pet dogs to tie or chain their dogs with immediate effect.
According to a DIPR report, DC Phek has cautioned that dogs found roaming freely in the town would be seized or shot at sight by the administration or police since there were instances of dogs biting the pedestrians in Phek Town causing danger to human life.
