Dimapur District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting held September 5 at the DC’s Conference Hall has approved the evaluation study on tourism development schemes and projects in Dimapur district under the period 2010, 2011 & 2012 on basis of the 11th Five Year Plan.
Deputy commissioner Dimapur and vice chairman DPDB, N. Hushili Sema, who chaired the meeting, informed about 50 years celebration of Nagaland Statehood Day, in this regard all the department to get prepare to draw up plan for year long programme and submitting to their concern head of the department.
On the matter of submission of quarterly progress report regarding Implementation of prime minister’s new 15-point programme for the welfare of the minorities the departments which were yet to submit their reports were directed to submit the same on or before September 15. The board also recommended grant-in-aid to H.M.C. High school, Midland, St. Joseph School Dimapur, St. Paul School, Purana Bazar.
Earlier, the BDO Niuland, BDO Aghunaqa, DSO Dimapur/District Evaluation Officer gave a power point presentation on departmental activities. Further the BDO Chumukedima, BDO Dhansiripar, and LEAD Bank were directed to give a departmental activities report in the next meeting.
