One day farmers training on IPM held at Tobu

One day farmers training on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) coinciding with the programme on System of Rice Intensification (SRI), line sowing and line transplanting programme currently undertaking under National Food Security Movement (NFSM) in the farmers field itself.

The daylong IPM training was conducted at the Farmers Field School (FFS) at Heangshu in Tobu village under the leadership of SDAO, Tobu, Z. Kintso Angami, followed by distribution of IPM tkits to the trainees who attended the training.

Resource persons for the training were AO, Roba Sangtam, AFAs Leagin, Imsuangba and Nyiewang. Altogether 26 farmers attended the training programme.
