Our fathers sacrificed their lives not to kill one another, but to foster unity, understanding, brotherhood and peace to the present generations, said parliamentary secretary veterinary and animal husbandry Yitachu.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the 3rd Black Day memorial cup organized by Pochury students’ union at Phor village on September 7.

In this regard, he appealed to various underground groups to come together by cultivating the good habits practiced by the forefathers.

“Our forefathers have sacrificed their lives for the cause of the Nagas and now we should move ahead with positive attitude”, Yitachu added.

He challenged the gathering not to spread only “black day message” but the message of love and understanding.

He advised the students’ union to build a good relationship with each other through sports and aim for excellence.  He also suggested the PSU to organize the tournament bigger way with lesser expenditure.
