Minister for roads & bridges and parliamentary affairs Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu Thursday graced the 34th freshers’ social of Kohima Law College held under the theme “Knowledge of law, justice for tomorrow” at the state academy hall.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, the minister called upon the lawyers to be agents of change in social reforms.
Azo also urged the lawyers to stand firm in protecting the Constitution. Kohima Law College principal Akang Ao exhorted the gathering while Kohima Law College Students’ Union (KLCSU) president Wekhrope Marhu delivered the welcome address.
Hitoka Swu led the function while vote of thanks was proposed by Keyigabuing Ndang, general secretary KLCSU.
