In its continued effor to check and prevent electricity theft, the state power department’s Anti power Theft Mobile squad (APTMS) on October 22 conducted raid on illegal power theft in different areas of Dimapur such as Half Nagarjan and Bank Colony areas.
According to a press release issued by sub-divisional officer (SDO) electrical sub-division No-II, Dimapur, during the raid the Anti power Theft Mobile squad (APTMS) led by SDO (E) No. II Dimapur Er.Y.Pukhashe Sema caught several defaulters for different type of offences.
The APTMS comes with the strength of one platoon of armed police personnel headed by a deputy superintendent. It is functioning under the office of Superintendent Engineer (Power), Dimapur circle.
