Morung indigenous food contest would be graced by MLA, Vice chairman, Nagaland state agricultural marketing board, S. Chuba Longkumer.

S. Chuba Longkumer, while inviting everyone to be a part of the Morung Festival, opined that the festival would be all about the indigenous traits of Naga culture and tradition and believed the food contest would reflect the self-reliance and self-dependency of the fore-fathers.

He further said the fest would send a strong message to the new generation to preserve and promote the unique culture and diversity and develop work ethics as practiced by our predecessors.

The judges for Morung indigenous food contest, volleyball tournament, choral contest and literary contest have been asked to reach Agri Expo Site on November 1 at 8 a.m.
