Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM) would be organizing ‘Mission fair 2013’ from November 7 to 10 at Dimapur at Rengma Baptist Church and Neingulie Memorial School to highlight and facilitate mission opportunities in various agencies both within the country and overseas as well.
Director, NMM, Rev Wati Longkumer, in a release stated the fair would facilitate the call and challenge of sending out ten thousand missionaries from Naga soil to the “field” of the world, and since there are inadequate information, opportunity and sponsorship in this area, mission fair has been proposed to address the lack of opportunity, the lack of awareness about mission fields in India and abroad and also to try and introduce to church members the current trends in mission, mission opportunities and mission agencies it can partner/minister with.
Experts would be available to share the challenges and new frontiers in mission and present the best practices in mission.
Aspirants can choose the missions of their liking based on their aptitude and natural inclination. Various mission agencies that have already partnered with NMM or are potential partners would share about their areas of work and also how one could join their agencies.
Once the choice is made, these missions endeavour to equip individuals with the best available training in their respective areas of interest.
Thus, guided by the experts and using information available, the ultimate objective is to produce highly trained soldiers to achieve tasks beyond the scope of ordinary expectations; in short, to make the impossible a reality.
Registration would continue till November 7. The programme will begin from 4 pm on November 7, from November 8 onwards, the programme would begin from 7 a.m. for registered participants with breakfast, lunch and dinner served at no additional cost.
Evening service is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is open to all. A world renowned Christian leader will be the evening speaker.
