1st alumni meet of Pfütsero college

Since its inception in 1982, Pfütsero Government College for the first time in 42 years commenced its 1st Alumni Meet on 12th December 2013 with former students and officers gracing the meet held in the college auditorium.
The programme was chaired by Lalboi T. Singsit, VP, PGCP, while Dr. Watijungshi Jamir, Principal PGCP, delivered the welcome note and gave a brief introduction of the Meet. He said that the  association has a huge role to play in uplifting the name of the college. He added that forming and taking this association forward is not only vital for social networking but has become a necessary criterion for NAAC Assessment. He also highlighted on the preparation needed and ambitions of PGCP for NAAC Assessment program. Short experiences were shared and support towards this association was shown by Pfütsero Government College alumni.
Earlier, the first committee was also formed during the business session. Wezhode Sarah was elected as President, Thipuhu Thira as Vice President, Mesepe-u Mero as Gen. Secy., Velutsou Vero as Asst. Secy., Tavezo Theluo (Asst. Prof, PGCP) as Treasurer, and Sesoteu Kapfo and Nichupe Kapfo as Advisors by the house members present at the meeting.
