ANSTA clarifies on teacher’s salary under SSA

With regard to the pending salary of SSA teachers, All Nagaland School Teachers Association (ANSTA) after thorough deliberation with the department (DSE) authorities on December 17 last found out that fund being sanctioned for the salary of teachers appointed under SSA project was not misappropriated or hijacked.
In a press release, ANSTA said the term hijacking of two months’ salary of teachers amounting to nearly 13 crore by the concerned authority as published earlier in the media did not arise.
The association, however, said it was not convinced with the fact that if the amount being earmarked for the salary was intact, and then the question of non-releasing of pending salary did not arise.
ANSTA has appealed to the authorities to kindly release salary to the effected teachers without further delay.
