Hard work key to success: Jacob

First triennial centenary memorial celebration of Kiyezu village and inauguration programme of centenary memorial boundary wall was held at Kiyezu village Tuesday.
MLA and Development Authority of Nagaland (DAN) chairman Jacob Zhimomi graced the occasion as chief guest and inaugurated the boundary wall. Kiyezu village, under Niuland sub-division was established in 1911.
Addressing the gathering of villagers, leaders and elders of the community, Jacob said Kiyezu village was a significant village that has played major role in the creation of Western Sumi.
Even with the dawn of new era, Jacob said it was important that people must uphold the cultural values of the village, strive for all round developmental of the village besides giving more importance to education, which was the foremost requirement for the growth of the society.
He encouraged the villager to work and eat and not to succumb to the greed of money.  MLA said hard work and honesty was the key to success.
Also, stressing on the need for peaceful coexistence, Jacob urged the people to maintain the spirit of peaceful coexistence with the neighbours. 
Western Sumi Hoho president Hokiye Yepthomi and Junior Engineer, R&B Dimapur Ghokivi Tsakhalu shared greetings on the occasion.
Pastor of the village church Pihoshe Assumi shared messaged from the Bible and prayed for blessing from the almighty. Obed Zhimomi, village chief delivered the welcome note.  Dedicatory prayer for inauguration of centenary memorial wall was said by Akatoli, women leader while invocation for the main programme was pronounced by Rev. Atovi Zhimomi, former pastor of the village.
