In a “get together cum picnic” members of Kyong Hoho, Kyong Eloe Hoho, Kyong Students’ Union, Wokha district GB’s Union, Wokha district DB’s association and Lotha Hoho Doyang collectively resolute to join hands in upholding the ardor and interest of the Kyong Lotha tribe in particular and the Nagas aspiration in general.
The “get together cum picnic” was held Saturday at Hydro-Electric Project (HEP), Wokha Doyang stated a release by Kyong Hoho president Yansathung Jami.
During the meeting a short meeting was conducted at the venue which led by Kyong Hoho Chairman Shompo wherein Yansathung Jami said as an apex Hoho would not interfere upon the activities of both KSU & KEH but will keep intact and work only for the larger degree of the community.
He further, urged upon all to uphold and defend the Lotha integrity, strength, unity and approval to prevail in Lotha Naga soil.
Kyong Hoho advisor Pinyimthung Lotha also challenged the gathering to come forward to exit hatred and selfish mindedness.
He urged upon all to honour, respect and preserve Lotha past and present tribal leaders as they are the torch bearers of the community.
KEH general secretary Nzano Kikon and KSU president Amos Odyuo both assured the gathering that they would join hands working for the betterment of the Lotha’s welfare only and decided to share their feelings by making fullest co-operation without any communication gap.
Others who spoke include Mhonchan Lotha president WDGB’s Union, Aremo Murry general secy. WDDB’s assoc. and Zanthungo Patton Chairman Lotha Hoho Doyang. Lastly, a dinner arranged by Kyong Hoho has been served upon the members and invitees present.
