Spark-Venture Production, Hq Kohima presented “Light your world” fundraiser concert for the displaced Western Rengma children featuring Alobo Naga and the band, Zowe Madrigal led by Nise Meruno and Joey Woch renowned artists of Nagaland at Rengma Baptist church, Khermahal Dimapur, Saturday.
It may be noted that December 2013 witnessed the escalation of Rengam-Karbi tensions in Assam resulting in loss of not just immovable and movable material properties but also the lives of many. Thousands of people were displaced made homeless and deprived from enjoying the most basic necessities, traumatized, their education and future at stake, dreams shattered, families scattered and their lives put on hold with an air of uncertainly about the future.
