To build awareness among its members, the Nagaland Development Outreach (NDO), the development wing of Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC), in collaboration with Legislators’ Forum on AIDS (LFA) conducted advocacy programme on HIV & AIDs with association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) at its mission centre, Singrijan, Dimapur.
The resource persons during this programme included Dr. Molusen Jamir (ART doctor civil hospital, Dimapur) and Takatoba (director SoLAF). The topics covered included Basics on HIV & AIDS and its Treatment- medical perspective, overcoming stigma and discrimination and care and support for PLHIV.
All together there were 95 participants representing youth leaders, women leaders church elders and other church members.
