Committee on sexual harassment formed in Tuensang

In pursuance with the Supreme Court judgment, superintendent of police Tuensang IPS Vikas has constituted ‘internal complaint committee (ICC)’ against sexual harassment for DEF Tuensang on April 15. The ICC members is headed by inspector PI Tuensang court, Supongkokla Chang as chairperson;  SI i/c women cell Tuensang PS, Hanjila Yimchunger as member secretary and HA SP office, S. Yangerla Ao; steno SP office, Shurhotuonou; SI Jangkhapao Kuki, ASI Wangshiliba Ao; ASI i/c crime cell, Lakiumong Yim; president Eastern Nagaland Women Organization Tuensang District (ENWOTD), Y. Alepla as members. The main focus of the committee was to formulate effective preventive measure and to check the evil of sexual harassment of working women at DEF Tuensang. It would also enquire/ investigate cases of sexual harassment in the light of Vishakas’s judgment of the Supreme Court of India.
