After ascertaining that some GBs of colony/ward/village were collecting “some amount” against new ration card form under National Food Security Act, which is/are strictly prohibited, GBs union chairman, M.Y Ngullie, and general secretary, Yeheto Zhimomi have directed all GBs (Sadar) not to collect such amount from the beneficiaries. They further cautioned that the “violating GBs name” would be forwarded to DC, Dimapur, and Food and Civil Supplies office, Dimapur, while also disciplinary action would be taken against the GB.
