Ram Prasad Naskar, who embarked on ‘National Cycle Rally’ on December 18, 2013 from West Bengal to create awareness on global warming, arrived Dimapur Wednesday.
A resident of Subhasgram of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal and a teacher, Naskar is on country-wide journey on his bicycle campaigning for global warming.
Naskar said he has so far covered a distance of 15, 200 kilometers, travelling through capital cities of 21 states. He still plans to travel to other Northeast states including to Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.
Naskar began his ‘tour against global warming and its potential threats’ from Paribesh Bhavan, Salt Lake, Kolkata.
