Preparations for Ura Academy 75 years celebration

Hectic preparation for the Ura Academy platinum jubilee (75 years) celebration is underway here in various places to be held at NBCC convention hall Kohima from May 29-30. 
Nagaland governor Dr. Ashwani Kumar would be the chief guest and Tenyimi People’s Organization (TPO) president Timikha Koza as the guest of honour.
Ura Academy Rüpfünuo general secretary Metsilhouthie Mor said more than 3000 delegates were expecting to attend the celebration and besides hundreds of special invitees.
He said Nagaland government had already given a restricted holiday May 30 for the celebration particularly to the Tenyimi community, which comprises of Angami, Chakhesang, Rengma, Pochury, Zeliang, Mao, Poumai, Impui, Maram and Thangal.
Mor said there would be mega exhibition on Cultural and Literature from the various tribes. Transportation committee informed that there free bus services would be available in every bus stop junction in the state capital to attend the celebration.
