W’shop on ethical hacking & cyber security

Ellide Computer Education Dimapur organized a two-day workshop on ethical hacking and cyber security for students and others in the IT sector on June 20 and 21.
The workshop was conducted by Mahesh Rakheja, a well-known Techniche public speaker, who took sessions on hacking on e-mail accounts, mobile phones and website and subsequently also dwelt on how to protect one’s account. During the course of his workshop, Rakheja gave lectures on ethical hacking, cyber forensic, android application development, android malware development, cloud computing and many other technologies.
Rakheja, not only gave live demonstrations in hacking different sites and individual accounts, although done ethically, he also explained how hackers steal personal information, from mobile phones when the individual download certain softwares or applications.  He also cautioned that nothing was secured as thought and could be hacked using tools and softwares if people wanted and extract whatever information they want. Rakheja further dwelt on how people hack and obtain credit card information of people and later use them for their benefits while also advising the participants to make transactions through email accounts and credit cards carefully. Rakheja’s colleague, Baldev Singh Rawat took sessions on career counseling in the IT sector and the projects the younger generations have in this sector. The workshop was coordinated by Swapan Kumar Dass, CEO Ellide Computer Education, Dimapur.
