St. Joseph’s College science fest: EUREKA, 2014

St. Joseph’s College, Jakhama Science Department conducted their first ever science fest ‘EUREKA’ August 8 and 9. At the two-day event, senior science officer, department of science and technology, Zavi Hiese expressed his willingness to help the young students and urged them to continue their studies with enthusiasm and hard work.
He reminded everyone that Nagaland was rich in biodiversity and was still largely unexplored, which he described as a “heaven for researchers”.
College principal Rev. Fr. Abraham Lotha welcomed the chief guest and described the Fest as a perfect example of creativity, imagination and innovation coming together among bright young minds.
The Fest has activities and competitions ranging from pantomime, street plays, slideshow presentations, singing, cultural dances, exhibitions, quiz.
