Dimapur police has arrested two persons identified as Mosto Ram alias Deepak Mech (30) son of Krishno Mech and Birju Rai (30) son of Ajit Rai of Raipathar village (Assam) in connection to the murder of Vivender Rai son of Late Kishori Rai of Barpathar village (Assam). According to police the dead body of late Birju was recovered on December 9, 2013 from Darogapathar 2 ½ mile near T K service, Dimapur. Police said that the miscreants killed the driver and took away the truck which was loaded with Bitumen.
A case was registered and investigation led to the arrest of four persons and recovery of the truck and bitumen, police added. However, the arrested accused persons managed to evade Police arrest and were absconding.
