State BJP executive convenes meet

Nagaland state unit BJP, executive meeting will be held on August 19, 11 a.m. at Bookmarc Dimapur.
All state executive members, office bearers, BJP legislators, national executive members, national office bearers, state frontal chiefs, district presidents and general secretaries have been asked to attend the meeting.
Meanwhile, office secretary BJP Nagaland, Lachit Kachari in a press statement stated that for the expansion of the party, and in compliance with the party constitution Article XVII, state president, Dr M.Chuba Ao has nominated the following as state executive members with immediate effect: Munthin Newmai, Er. Dr. L. Yezhekhu Sumi, K.Imtiwati Ao, Lipok Longkumer, Chinny Magh, Saikha Zhimomi and Renponthung Ezung.
The following persons have been nominated as special invitees of the state executive committee: Kevechutso Doulo, Er. P.Cheong Konyak, Wanglem Konyak,  Visasolie Lhoungu, ST Sangtam IPS (rtd), Er Hontongkyu Santam and Tsasepi Sangtam.  State BJP has also informed that the party will be participating “full heartedly” in the forthcoming by-election of Northern-2 assembly constituency, Kohima.
To this, the party has reiterated that all recommendation of the candidates would be routed through the mandal level to district and state level before reaching the Parliamentary board at Delhi.
