Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) along with DAPCU Mokokchung have jointly organized training on Home Based Care (HBC) for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) at Hotel Metsuben, Mokokchung. District ICTC Supervisor, Molo, in his welcome address, urged the participants to overcome personal stigma and discrimination. The resource person of the training was Executive Director CAPA, Dr. Joyce Angami. The training was organized with an aim to give benefit and equip the PLHIV on how to treat common illness at home and improve their health conditions. Various issues related to health including modes of transmission, prevention, myths and misconceptions, couple counseling, family planning, PPTCT, health and hygiene were discussed during the training. Around 25 people participated in the training.
