Basing on specific information about the movement of arms peddler in general area Tinali, Dimapur, troops of 29 Assam Rifles launched an operation on March 3 and arrested one persons with a pistol.
The accused has been identified as Sapenthung Lotha from Wokha. Assam Rifles personnel recovered one .22 pistol from his possession. The apprehended individual alongwith recovered weapon was handed over to West Police Station, Dimapur.
