ARTC&S conducts medical camp at Shukovi

Assam Rifles has organized a free medical camp for the people of Shukhovi village, near the Assam Rifles Training Centre and School (ARTC&S) on March 1 and administered free medical checkup and medicines to over 251 patients including 69 male, 113 female and 69 children.
Lt. Col. Bharath Kumar was the senior medical officer, and assisted by the Assistant Commandant Sweta Bahanagare, a dentist. The medical checkup involved a BP check, blood check for malaria and haemoglobin check for all ladies between 16 years to 35 years of age. After this the patients met the MO and dentist for individual problems.
Meanwhile, the villagers have expressed gratitude to the Assam Rifles Training Centre and School, for the initiative. They have urged the Assam Rifles to continue their sincere and dedicated efforts to reach out to the remotest villages.
