Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) in collaboration with the department of veterinary & animal husbandry would conduct registration of dogs and vaccination drive in all wards of Mokokchung town on March 15.
With regard to this, MMC superintendent O. Pangjung Longkumer requested all ward authorities to assign two persons to maintain the registration record as per the prescribed format.
Vaccination certificate would be issued by the V&AH department for which Rs. 20 would be charged whereas anti rabies vaccine would be provided free of cost by the department. All the ward authorities have been asked to inform the dog owner for the same and those already vaccinated should be asked to produce the certificate of registration.
