NSF along with its subordinate units have appealed to Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) and Mao Council (MC) to amicably resolve their ongoing land boundary dispute in the greater interest of the Naga people.
Stating this in a press release, NSF president, Subenthung Kithan and vice president Joseph Nguori informed that the appeal was made at the extraordinary federal assembly with its federating and subordinate units at NSF conference hall Kohima on June 10.
Without prejudice to the issue, NSF said it viewed and felt that all student community and their academic career “should not be hampered” as a consequence of the dispute.
NSF said it held a firm conviction, that SAPO would consider its appeal to exempt students from the purview of the “current situation” in the larger interest of society.
