Dimapur District Auto Drivers’ Union (DDADU) has informed that the auto fare from Dhobinalla to Senjum village has been fixed at Rs. 30 per passenger with effect from July 11. A press release by DDADU president K Hokaito Zhimomisaid the decision was taken after consultation with Senjum village GBs and other organizations. DDADU has urged all the auto rickshaws plying in this route to charge only the fixed rate per passenger, while passengers have been directed to report to the union office, if fare charged was more than the fixed rate.Further, DDADU has informed auto rickshaws plying with black hood in Dimapur town have been directed to immediately change their hoods to yellow colour and warned that a fine of Rs. 250 would be imposed on defaulters.
