While reaffirming God’s true purpose for humans where every individual and organisation was appointed to fulfil His purpose, Dimapur Area Ao Baptist Pastors Fellowship(DAABPF)termed ACAUT’s pursuit against illegal taxations and corruption in Naga society as not only laudable but an environment in God’s mission itself.
Stating this DAABPF president Rev.Zülu Jamir and secretary Dr.T.Temjen Ozükum said as good Christians, Nagas instead of questioning ACAUT’s movement should instead introspect as to what prompted the emergence of ACAUT in the first place.
DAABPF opined that many a time, people in order to assert their self-righteousness, tend to overlook their own iniquities by blaming others and resulting in core issues not being addressed and truth becoming victim.
DAABPF said it was time Naga society spoke the truth as truth had no place for corruption in God’s purpose for humans and for which each and everyone has a duty to cleanse and sanctify society.
DAABPF appealed to all Naga citizens to strengthen the hands of ACAUT in their respective capacities so as to enable it to forge ahead with the noble task of transforming Naga society “into a cultured and civilised one” for a society that God originally meant and where every citizen could lead their lives with self respect. DAABPF therefore earnestly appealed to churches to continue to pray for ACAUT leaders so that they could continue to spearhead the noble mission “selflessly and fearlessly without distraction.”
