Dr. Nicky flags off sanitation vehicle

Minister for Forest and Environment, Dr. Nicky Kire on Wednesday flagged off the Upper Agri Colony Sanitation Vehicle at AEF Council Hall.
Addressing the programme, Dr. Nicky stressed on the need to implement Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) in the state to bring about changes in the society.
While congratulating the chairman and office bearers of Upper Agri Colony, Dr. Nicky also urged upon all section to “copy the good things” that would elevate the status of the society. Speaking on the occasion, Upper Agri Council (UAC) advisor Hoto Yeptho said the vehicle was purchased with the contributions made by residents of Upper Agri Colony consisting of 17 wards. He also said that the vehicle would be operational on alternate days. Yeptho appealed all to maintain proper sanitation system to make it the “cleanest colony”. Earlier, dedicatory prayer was offered by Pastor CCRC Upper PWD, David Koza and acknowledgement by treasurer UAC, N Ato Kichu while the vote of thanks was delivered by UAC vice chairman Limawati.
