First North East Kisan Morcha, BJP meet was held at at Sivasagar, Assam, on September 7.
BJP Kisan morcha president, Vijay Pal Singh Tomar addressed the meet where he highlighted on the Centre’s effort under the leadership of prime minister, Narendra Modi to uplift the economy and livelihood of the farmers welfare.
State Kisan Morcha appealed to the state government implement the soil health card schemes at the earliest for the benefit of the genuine farmer in Nagaland.
During the meet Kisan Morcha, Nagaland, president Lima Longchar, delivered a short speech and submitted a representation to the national president.
In reply, Tomar assured that he would take up the matters on priority basis with the union minister, agriculture and farmer welfares, Radha Mohon Singh.
Meanwhile, Nagaland State Kisan Morcha expressed gratefulness to minister, (Transport & IIT) Paiwang Konyak, for financial assistance.
