NSCN (K) has said “several criminals” were engaged in demanding taxes indiscriminately from markets and business establishments in and around Dimapur posing themselves as “col. Akaho Zhimomi and Max Assumi.”
In a press release, NSCN (K) finance in-charge, Dimapur district ‘brig.’ Akaho Zhimomi informed that to avoid unnecessary harassment and double taxation, all the “tax payers” consult and confirm from the numbers 9436249157, 8732009014 before making any payments.
It stated that no payment would be considered “valid or official” without prior authentication from the finance in-charge.
